    by ONFARM Support 606 0 0
Dr. Thomas Dykstra, Laboratory Director of Dykstra Labs and AEA Scientific Advisor, is a trained entomologist with a vast background in agricultural consulting. For years, Tom has been illuminating farmers to the science behind insect pressure and demonstrating why insects do not—and cannot—attack healthy plants. In our latest webinar, Dr. Dykstra sits down with John Kempf to explain what constitutes a healthy plant, the machinations of insect digestion, and how to use the Leaf Brix chart as a reference guide for any kind of pest pressure. https://www.advancingecoag.com/ Never miss an update from AEA! • NutriSoil A New Agriculture, Di Haggerty Presentation
    by ONFARM Support 322 0 0
Di and Ian Haggerty of Prospect Pastoral farm approx. 30,000ha in the wheatbelt WA using their own regenerative farming practices they call Natural Intelligence Farming. Di spoke at the NutriSoil Annual Event - A New Agriculture on June 28 2018 to a crowd of over 212 attendees. She explains how they are cropping on broad acreage in marginal conditions using Nutrisoil and a compost extract they make themselves, minimal chemical and next to no synthetic fertilisers. Their sheep play an integral role contributing to a healthy microbial soil. They have now got native perennials growing over Summer contributing to healthy crops and much more to learn about in this presentation.

  • The Role of Micronutrients in Crop Health and Disease Resistance
    by ONFARM Support 387 0 0
Micronutrients are critical components of plant development. In this webinar, AEA founder John Kempf provides an in-depth look at the most important seven micronutrients for disease resistance and high-yield production. For each one, John discusses their functions within the plant, as well as the disease and insect prevention benefits each can provide with the correct management. John also talks about micronutrient mobility within the plant and the different methods of chelation. Slides available at https://www.slideshare.net/AdvancingEcoAgricult/the-role-of-micronutrients-in-crop-health-and-disease-resistance. • Managing Nutrition at Critical Points of Influence
    by ONFARM Support 457 0 0
John Kempf discusses how to reach the maximum genetic capability of your crop by recognizing critical points of influence. All crops have cycles during which either vegetative or reproductive energy is dominant in the plant. At the peak moment of each cycle, and again when the cycle switches from vegetative to reproductive, plants enter a critical window of time at which the correct support is paramount for yields and quality. In this video, learn about these critical points of influence, how to observe their occurrence in crops, and how to influence outcomes by applying nutrition and other inputs differently at each critical point.
