Talk about saving the best for last! This recipe comes to us from deep in the Local is Lovely blog archives and before that, from Anna Derham aka @derhaminteriors’ late Grandma Booth.

Thank you so much Anna for sharing this with us all, it’s a super easy, very delicious pudding recipe that really doesn’t need to be made months in advance and I think tastes wonderful, full of bright flavour with a lovely spiced, nutty crumb.

It might seem funny to suggest giving someone a Christmas pudding but actually, what a treat that would be, especially for those of us who haven’t been organised this year and had ours made and sitting quietly in the dark since October.
